What you've told us
Rob, Thank you for visiting our school and for sharing your knowledge with our staff and students of Immaculata. We look forward to continuing our learning journey. Warm Regards, Dayna & Team
Robert, we celebrate your visit today with gratitude. Being able to spend Louis Riel Day learning about the culture of the
Metis is a fantastic opportunity for our youth!
With thanks,
St. Joseph's C.S.S.
It's truly a pleasure to work with such a kind and well spoken professional like Robert. I hope by sharing his morning live stream presentation with my peers gives more opportunities to have to Metis culture discussed and explored in our school.

Good Afternoon Mr. McDonald, Patrick and I just wanted to thank you so much for your wonderful presentation on the 16th. We had teachers email us about how much their students enjoyed the presentation, even supply teachers emailed us! Today we were at a local school and a few elementary teachers informed us that their students loved your presentation because it was so engaging and had so much information. The teachers said they appreciated how well you spoke to an elementary audience.

Hi Robert, I just wanted to send you a thank you note for todays presentation. We learned so much about the history of the Métis people.
Thank you for sharing your own story and poetry. My students were pretty quiet but we had a great conversation afterwards and they really
enjoyed how you presented.

"Robert's presentation on Metis in Canada offered my students a knowledgeable and authentic perspective of the history, struggles, and successes of Metis people in this country. While our new virtual schooling model is not ideal, he made every effort to modify his presentation so that it would be as true to his in-person delivery as possible. Looking forward to having him present to my other Indigenous Arts classes." Kristin McPhee Teacher St. Mark Catholic High School
